This is a draft. The final text will be published before launch.
Contents

1. Who runs Photobooth

This section is being written and will be legally reviewed before launch.

2. What we process and why

Your camera is used to take photos and build your strip on your device.

The microphone is only used in Duo/Group and can be muted anytime. Solo doesn't use it.

3. How it's processed

Solo: photos never leave your device and aren't stored on our servers.

Duo/Group: video and photos pass through a third-party realtime server abroad to reach your friends — nothing is recorded or stored.

4. How long we keep it

Technical data (IP, device, browser, error logs) is used to run the service and prevent abuse, and kept for up to 30 days. Analytics are anonymous, with no tracking cookies.

5. Third parties and transfers abroad

This section is being written and will be legally reviewed before launch.

6. Your rights

You can ask what we hold, withdraw consent (turn off the camera or leave), request deletion, or complain via the email below.

7. What we never do

No face recognition, no AI training on your photos, no selling data.

8. Photos of other people

Photos with friends: ask them before posting publicly.

9. For parents and under-16s

Anyone under 16 needs a parent's or guardian's permission before turning on the camera.

10. Versions and changes

This section is being written and will be legally reviewed before launch.
